The Healingzone & The Better Me are non-profit organizations that reach out to help Single Fathers & Mothers & their children. We also aspire to Mentor Young Men to become strong men in their communities. We are determined to improve the lives of individuals that have been abused, neglected and at-risk children. Through multidisciplinary efforts that support the identification, prevention, and treatment of child abuse and neglect we will build a bridge to healing.

Our Vision & Our Mission

The Better Me is an organization committed to educating, equipping and empowering single parents with resources, practical assistance, emotional encouragement and social networking to better their lives and those of their children.

The Better Me provides a mentoring program that addresses the social and emotional rebuilding of our young men ages 8-18. The program focuses on building essential skills needed to become productive contributing citizens.

The Better Me has developed a program call Rise to improve the lives of abused, neglected and at-risk children through multidisciplinary efforts that support the identification, prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect.
